Q: Tell me about your job
A: I’m currently the 3rd shift supervisor for the PM crew and powder department at our paint facility. I’m responsible for overseeing the powder schedule and making sure my team has the necessary tools to be successful.

Q: What did you do prior to Linetec?
A: Prior to Linetec, I worked on dairy farms around the area I grew up in and worked at Mills Fleet Farm for almost 5 years working inside the store as well as out in the yard.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: I enjoy leading and building teams; also getting to work with some great people and seeing them grow and develop to become strong team members.

Q: What poses the biggest challenges for you?
A: Learning all the technical aspects of paint and powder process. Most of my Linetec career was spent at the Anodize facility; thankfully I have an awesome team that has shared their vast knowledge and was able to teach me the technical aspects of the paint and powder process.

Q: What is something you are looking forward to?
A: Summer time!! I enjoy going camping with my wife Heidi and 3 kids (Morgan, Eli and William) also helping my kids with their fair projects. My daughter takes pigs and dairy, and my son Eli take sheep. So summertime is busy but I really enjoy it

Q: Do you collect anything?
A: Not any more, I did collect baseball cards as a kid

Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
A: I was the first one in my family to be born in the United States. My parents immigrated from Switzerland in the late 70’s. It was my dad’s dream to be a dairy farmer. I learned the value of hard work and to always be proud of what you do from watching my dad achieve his dream.

Q: If Linetec gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?
A: I would go to the U.P with my wife and do some hiking in the Porcupine Mountains and just relax.

Q; If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Steak and eggs.

Q: What always cheers you up when you think about it?
A: My wife and kids.
