Q: Tell me about your job
A: I am a process engineer at the anodize facility. My primary responsibilities are maintaining the anodizing tank lines and lab, as well as focusing on continuous improvement and process improvement.
Q: What did you do prior to Linetec?
A: Prior to Linetec, I worked at Dairyland Labs in Stratford as the lead chemist. While I was there, I helped with the lab’s startup at the newly built facility. Prior to that, I worked in Sheboygan at a cleanroom facility doing trace metal analysis on products that were sold into the hi-tech industry.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: The favorite part about my job is solving the problems that are encountered at anodize. Working with other employees and developing a solution that works for everyone is very rewarding.
Q: What poses the biggest challenges for you?
A: The fast paced environment. In my position, I feel that it takes a lot of organization and prioritization to stay on top of everything going on.
Q: What is something you are looking forward to?
A: Fall. Fall is by far my favorite season. It is a great time to be outdoors and to be hunting. We are also expecting in early November, so I am really looking forward to welcoming our first child into the world.
Q: Do you collect anything?
A: Not specifically.
Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
A: I enjoy brewing beer and making wine. I started this hobby after college and really enjoy it.
Q: If Linetec gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?
A: Go to a new location where Maggie, Waylon (my dog), and I can go hiking and exploring.
Q; If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Pizza. Specifically pepperoni.
Q: What always cheers you up when you think about it?
A: Being surrounded with the people that I care about. Being with Maggie, my family and friends.
