Tell me about your job
I am the Field Service Supervisor for Linetec. I travel to jobsites around the country to work to resolve issues and come up with solutions with commercial building finishes.
What did you do prior to Linetec?
I was a lead operator at Foremost Farms USA working on various machines for pharmaceuticals.
What is the favorite part of your job?
I enjoy travelling to different sites across the country and seeing firsthand how the architects and construction crews have constructed our buildings and designs. I also enjoy the challenges and problem solving we face on major projects and massive buildings. Living in Wisconsin, I would say Florida is not a bad place to visit when I’m on the road ha-ha.
What poses the biggest challenge for you?
The biggest challenges are the logistics that go into some of the remote projects and putting the pieces together with the team to make them fit. You have a large crew who are going sometimes thousands of miles across the country with large pieces of equipment to complete the job. Also, no one likes long check in lines at the airport!
What is something you always look forward to?
Going to Europe with my girlfriend next year for vacation and sightseeing old ruins and beaches.
Do you collect anything?
I collect rare signs when I can find them on travels or at auctions. Also golf balls, considering I lose enough of them on the course when I play.
What is something people don’t know about you?
I am avidly into fitness and working out. Even if I miss the gym for a day, I will try to do some kind of makeshift workout in my hotel room or wherever I may be.
If Linetec gave you a surprise three-day paid break, to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?
I would pack up the golf clubs, drop the top on the convertible, and go up North for a weekend of golf and sightseeing with my girlfriend. Or, maybe even a Las Vegas weekend getaway!
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Easy…sushi!
What is something that always cheers you up when you think about it?
The ocean and the beaches with the waves ripping up the coast.
