Q: Tell me about your job
A: I am the pretreat and racking supervisor at the paint facility. I am responsible for ensuring that an adequate coating of pretreat is applied to the parts before painting. My department is also responsible for hanging the parts to go down the paint line.

Q: What did you do prior to Linetec?
A: I was in college at UW-Stevens Point before coming to Linetec. I have been working here since I graduated college in 2008.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: Working with my team and the challenges that arise in our process due to all the unique profiles and shapes that our customers send to Linetec for coating.

Q: What poses the biggest challenges for you?
A: Finding ways to rack customers’ materials to ensure that we get adequate paint coverage without causing damage to their parts.

Q: What is something you are looking forward to?
A: Retirement, only 30+ years away. That and I am looking forward to Fall; it is such a pleasant time of year.

Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
A: I am a pretty private person, so there is probably a lot people don’t know about me. I enjoy gambling, especially card games.

Q: If Linetec gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?
A: I would go camping . I would also try to get in a round of golf and some fishing.

Q: What always cheers you up when you think about it?
A: The kids at home and spending time with my family.
