Q: Tell me about your job
A: As the Regional Sales Manager for the Mid Central territory I cover Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky. I work with new and existing customers to bring in new business, get to build relationships with people from other companies, and explain everything that we do and offer here at Linetec. I am new to this position so I am really looking forward to being able to start to travel to meet people in person rather than just email and over the phone.
Q: What did you do prior to Linetec?
A: Sales Rep for Fastenal; my territory was Lincoln County.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: Every day is different, whether that is getting to talk to different people on a daily basis or new challenges that might come up. Definitely makes it tough to get bored.
Q: What poses the biggest challenges for you?
A: The pace of the business. Throughout the day a lot gets thrown at you and making sure that I get back to everyone in a timely manner can get difficult. It’s weird because that is also what makes the job fun.
Q: What is something you are looking forward to?
A: Sports starting back up. Any sport will do, but can’t wait to get back to watching the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers, and Packers.
Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
A: I love going to live sporting events and have gone to 18 different venues. I want to see the badgers play football in each Big Ten stadium.
Q: If Linetec gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?
A: Go up north with the family and find some time to get out on the golf course.
Q: What always cheers you up when you think about it?
A: Every summer we take the girls up to the zoo in Minocqua and the looks on their faces when they see all of the animals is awesome. They can feed and pet a lot of the animals up there and hearing their laughs is unforgettable.
