Q: Tell me about your job

A: For two years, I’ve been a production supervisor at our paint facility. The teams I directly supervise include racking, unloading, receiving, and third shift. I recently began supervising additional teams for application, flexline, in-house blending and sanding. Overall, my purpose as a second-shift supervisor is to develop great minds and make them the best associates they can be.

Q: What did you do prior to Linetec?

A: I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a degree in operations management.  I quickly received a job offer from Ashley Furniture. I utilized my time there to develop myself as a first-time supervisor. I gained an understanding of how to run a team and develop them to focus on making quality items. After a year and a half at Ashley, Oshkosh Corporation contacted me and I became a senior coordinator there. I spent over three years developing my team-building and communication skills. Then, I found Linetec and the rest is history.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: The people I work with every day – directly or indirectly. I continue to be impressed by our team members’ great work ethic and passion about what they do.

Q: What poses the biggest challenges for you?

A: I find it challenging to show all of my direct reports how important their work is. Showing the overall picture in a world of intense focus can be challenging.

Q: What is something you are looking forward to?

A: The future of Linetec. I look forward to seeing what we do next and I would love to be part of its growth.

Q: What is something people don’t know about you?

A: If you decide to debate me on Star Wars or Game of Thrones, set aside a meeting request… you are about to go down.

Q: If Linetec gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?

A: I will drive to the nearest Tiki Hut and enjoy the summer time outside near the water.

Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Steak and eggs
