We wanted to let everyone know that our Sunburst Shutters Houston Team is safe after Hurricane Harvey. Only one employee had damage to his home. City-wide clean-up has begun and members of Sunburst Shutters Houston are participating in the clean-up efforts.
Sunburst Houston Manager, Cory Cryer, visited a customer today who had our shutters in Kingwood, Texas. Their house took on 4 ½ feet of water and required an 8 foot tear out. While nearly everything else in their home was destroyed, their Polywood shutters were completely intact and usable. Cory’s team took them down, cleaned them 
up, and will store them until the customer is ready for them to be reinstalled. Their Polywood shutters were about the only thing they are keeping from their home.
The neighbor of this customer had a competitor’s shutter in their home, and those did not survive the flooding. Their shutter salesman came back out and said “Yep, the shutters are toast.” That neighbor was shocked when she inspected the Polywood shutters. She said when they are finished with their remodel, they are going to order Polywood shutters for their home!
